Custom Heat is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our expanding Head Office team in Rugby, Warwickshire. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in social media, content creation, and campaign management within an in-house marketing department or agency. Additionally, the candidate must be self-organised  and demonstrate the ability to foster relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders internally and with our external marketing and industry partners.

Working with Custom Heat’s existing, established marketing foundations – the successful candidate will work collaboratively with both our in-house leadership team and marketing agency to drive growth and deliver our first class customer service to new audiences.

Custom Heat’s in-house Marketing Coordinator will:

  • Demonstrate initiative and organise marketing projects brilliantly
  • Have the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders, deliver feedback and accurately convey a brief 
  • Have previous experience working with marketing content and data reporting 
  • Be reliable, passionate and willing to learn 
  • Have a strong sense of brand messaging and guidelines to ensure consistency 
  • Show a keen understanding of marketing strategy and an enthusiasm for putting ideas into action 
  • Be able to use modern marketing and creative tools
  • Have an eye for content, creative and marketing opportunities

Role Responsibilities

  • Engage and communicate with existing and prospective customers across our active social media channels. 
  • Join our engineers in the field to capture content, engage with customers and produce marketing collateral. 
  • Continually write and share news and company updates on our website and marketing channels.
  • Collate, own and roll-out website changes via our Content Management System (WordPress) to update our service offering, prices, team profiles, news and job vacancies. 
  • Write accurate and clear creative and marketing briefs
  • Collaborate and work with our external marketing agency (StrategiQ) as a key, central point of contact to:
    • Deliver briefs and media assets for marketing campaigns and initiatives
    • Understand digital marketing performance across multiple channels  
    • Raise technical website tickets and marketing deliverable briefs via Project Management software ‘ClickUp’
    • Ideate and contribute toward a roadmap of PR opportunities
    • Source and deliver video and photo media assets from the team
  • Looking for content and campaign opportunities by being on-the-ground and fully integrated with the Custom Heat team each day
  • Supporting our charity partnerships and liaising with our charity partners on marketing materials 
  • Supporting with the sign-off of content and representing the needs of multiple stakeholders across Custom Heat 
  • Contributing to marketing planning meetings with creative, data-backed ideas

Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Applicants will stand-out in the process if they meet any of the criteria below

  • A-Level/College or above qualification in marketing or appropriate creative discipline
  • 2+ years in-house or agency marketing experience
  • Familiarity with the WordPress CMS Platform
  • Track record of effective and engaging brand social media marketing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • An understanding of data and performance marketing measurement
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • The ability to create media graphics and/or video content
