We’re pleased to share the news that Custom Heat has secured a table at this year’s Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust Ball, taking place this December.

The Winter Wonderland-themed event, being held in Worcester, is expected to draw around 350 guests, aimed at raising essential funds to sustain the Trust’s mission of aiding families dealing with childhood cancer.

With a keen focus on local businesses, the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust Ball is designed to harness the support of the community.

A number of local businesses, including the team at Custom Heat, will be attending the event on December 1 at the Bank House Hotel to raise funds for such a worthy cause and enable them to continue supporting families facing childhood cancer.

Current statistics show that 1 child in every 450 receives a diagnosis of cancer before the age of 15, meaning that there is an increasing demand for the emotional, practical, and financial support services given by the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.

The event’s funds are earmarked for various critical initiatives. Contributions as small as £20 could contribute towards facilitating a day out activity for bereaved siblings, an essential component of the Trust’s comprehensive support. Donations of £50 are channelled into funding one-on-one family support sessions, offering families a vital platform for sharing and coping. Larger contributions, such as £100, can directly fund the creation of new diagnosis support packs for families in the initial stages of their harrowing journey.

Sophie Blount, Communications Officer at the Trust said: “Our ability to provide families with the essential services they require upon receiving the devastating news of their child’s cancer diagnosis heavily relies on the unwavering support and commitment of local businesses and the community.”

Our own Lincoln Smith, urged others to go along to the event and show support for such a great cause.

He added: “Supporting such a significant cause is a privilege. Childhood cancer is an issue that necessitates collective attention, and we are proud to contribute to an event that showcases the incredible work that they do, and also get to meet some friends and other representatives from the businesses in the area.”
